NOKIA 3.1, NOKIA 5.1 KEY FEATURES

-- The biggest visual update is that both the new Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 phones come with 18:9 display which means slimmer bezels all around. What this means is that the navigation keys seen on the bottom bezel earlier are now on-screen. This also means that the fingerprint sensor on the new Nokia 5 has been moved to the back. In addition to the tall displays, the Nokia 3.1 comes with rounded corners and diamond-cut aluminium sides while the Nokia 5.1 is crafted out of a single block of 6000 series aluminum with rounded edges, much like the Nokia 7 Plus.
-- In terms of performance, the Nokia 3.1 gets an upgrade from quad-core MediaTek chipset to an octa-core processor. The Nokia 5.1, on the other hand, now comes with a MediaTek Helio P18 chipset compared to the Snapdragon 430 chip that was powering last years model.
-- The other big change is that both the new Nokia phones are now part of the Android One program. This means you will get pure, stock Android with timely Android security updates and a guarantee of Android P and Q in the future. This should give users a slightly better experience compared to last years models, although they run near stock Android versions as well.
-- For the Nokia 3.1, the rear camera has been bumped from 8MP to 13MP while the front remains similar at 8MP. Similarly, the Nokia 5.1 now gets a 16MP primary sensor compared to 13MP sensor on last years model.
