Motorola One Power leaked, could be the high-end Motorola phone you are waiting for

Motorola One Power leaked, could be the high-end Motorola phone you are waiting for

otorola, the Lenovo-owned brand, recently launched the Moto G6, the G6 Plus and the G6 Play in a global event. These are affordable, mainstream phones. Now, it seems that Lenovo is planning to launch a high-end phone called Motorola One Power, which will let the company compete with the likes of the OnePlus 6 and the Honor 10. It is expected that the Motorola One Power will come with the top-end processor and features like dual rear cameras.
For now not much is known about the Motorola One Power. But one of its images has been leaked and that tells us a lot about its design. There are also reports that the One Power is based on the Moot X5, which has been apparently cancelled.
From the image leaked by Android Headlines it is clear that the One Power will use a screen that has a notch -- hardly a surprise given that this year all high-end phones have one -- and thin bezels. It is expected that the screen will measure 5.9-inch in this phone. In the leaked image we also see that the One Power will have a chin on the bottom of the screen, similar to what is there in the phones like the OnePlus 6.
On rear, the One Power sports dual cameras and has the round fingerprint sensor, which is embossed with the bat-like Moto logo. While not much is known about the hardware inside the One Power, given that this will be a high-end phone, expect it to come with at least 4GB RAM and the 64GB internal storage. It is also expected that the One Power will sit below the Z5, an ultra premium phone that Lenovo is expected to launch on June 5.
Beyond hardware, the interesting bit about the One Power is that Lenovo is bringing back the Motorola brand back with it. Earlier, the company had moved to "Moto" and decided to do away with the brand Motorola on the devices or the retail boxes of its products. But probably the company has found that the name Motorola is still a big draw among consumers and hence it is bringing that name back.
In the last two years, Lenovo has lost some of the momentum with the Moto in markets like India, where Xiaomi has surged. But it has remained strong in Brazil, which is reportedly its most important market for the Moto phones. But this year the company is looking to focus on fewer -- but better -- Motorola phone and the One Power looks like a device with which it will target Indian consumers who spend between Rs 25,000 and Rs 35,000 on their phone.
